I did it!! 2 more days down and now I'm up to 30 min per workout. Yesterday was tough, too. I decided not to wait until the girls' bedtime and instead headed in when I got Kailyn down for her nap (and Olivia was also napping). Unfortunately, 15 min into the workout, Kailyn was screaming, then Olivia got up, and the workout was over. A trip to Urgent Care (Kailyn turned out to have an ear infection), dinner, and some playtime later, I put in another 15 min (at midnight).
Then, first thing this morning, for the first time ever, I actually anticipated my day and took the dog on a nice long, hilly walk, at a good clip before breakfast. I know this evening is going to be late and I'm not going to have the motivation, so now, I can rest for the remainer of the day (though, I haven't ruled out putting in a little more time on the rowing machine tonight).
And, I'm happy to report that I have several friends following along on this journey with me. Thanks everyone for your support so far. Keep it coming and keep yourselves moving along too! We can do this together!!!

Good for you overacheiver but I agreed to five minutes per day. ;) As I was huffing my butt up the 100 stairs for the mega slide for the third consecutive run. I thought of you. Normally I'd have been a bit annoyed that going down is sooooo much faster than going up but this time I just thought, "Well at least my exercise is done."
~B~ you crack me up! Love you for that! Matt has a somewhat similar attitude...he's up to 6 min now - LOL. But hey, glad I could help prevent a little irritation for you today! I do trust that you'll be kickin' in a little more time as the weeks fly by...you can't let me beat you into 2 delivery rooms AND at this can ya? ;)
Every time I get too serious about weight loss I get pregnant. With E. I was workout and lunch buddies with a co-worker who was also a personal trainer. With S. I'd just finished losing the last of the baby weight after I stopped BFing. I'm afraid of weight loss. Yeah... That's what it is...Fear, not laziness. That's why I can't work out more.
Huh, DH must find you completely irresistable when you're a fitness machine. Abstinence, that's my recommendation ;)
