Days 1 and 2 of the Challenge

Ok, so let me get you caught up....
Day 1 (7/13/10): Matt and I worked out together.  I had planned on doing 15 min on the treadmill, then an additional 5-10 on the rowing machine, but 8 min into my treadmill workout, Matt was off the rowing machine complaining about back pain.  So, I relinquished the treadmill and hopped on the rowing machine.  Now, its important to note that the rowing machine we have is water based, so there is only one resistance (how much water you added to the tank), so Matt and I have to work out at the same resistance.  Well, Matt finished my workout on the treadmill while I rowed and let me tell you, after 5-6 min, I was dying.  I finished out whatever time Matt had left on the workout, but it as not easy.  So, I got in a total of 15 min.

Day 2 (7/14/10): Matt worked late, and I didn't want to lose any momentum, so I worked out alone.  I started on the treadmill again, and did 15 min then switched over to the rowing machine for 6 more minutes.  It was easier today and I worked out harder.  Now, if only I could break Olivia of her recent habit of getting out of bed 3+ times each night before falling asleep, I might be able to workout sans interruption....
Oh, and I'm happy to report that Matt did indeed put his 5 min in last night, despite getting home around 11pm and being exhausted.  He definitely didn't have the patience for any of my cheerleading, but he did hold up his pledge!  YAY!!
