Getting Back in the Game: The Challenge, Days 19-25

Wow, has a week already gone by since my last update?  Well, in the past week, I've been keeping at it, though at a considerably slowed pace.  I've been mixing up isometrics with some easy cardio.  I've spent some time on our stationary bike, rowing machine, and treadmill (though not running yet!).  I've been letting my knee dictate how much/how hard to work.  My knee is doing  a LOT better, but stairs are still really challenging (painful).  I'll fully admit that I'm not feeling anywhere near as energized as I was in the beginning of this challenge. Working out for only 5-10 min each day at an "easy" pace, just doesn't get the juices flowing for me.  If I'm not dripping sweat and out of breath, I just don't feel like I've really worked out.  Fingers crossed that in the next week or so, I'll be able to get up to a 20 min (and more intense workout).  As a side note, a friend of mine recommended working out via hula hoop, since that should be fairly easy on the knee.  Doesn't that sound FUN?!?!  Apparently, it burns lots of calories (that is, if you can manage to get the thing going for more than 10 sec at a time).  Now, I'm on the hunt for a decent hula hoop - they're not as easy to find as you'd think.  Can anyone say: Amazon?!
