I'm pretty sure I'm a 1950's housewife reincarnate. I've loved to quilt, knit, and crochet since my college years and have recently added craft & garment sewing and cake decorating to my repertoire. Add to this the fact that I'm a Mommy of 2, and the pump is primed for crafting ADHD.
Being a Mommy is very important to me. In 2007, I gave birth to my first daughter and quickly discovered my "crunchy" side. I cloth diaper, exclusive and extended breastfeed, make my own baby food, and extended rear face my children.
When we were first married, my husband and I decided that we did not want to raise a family in the Los Angeles area. Now, we have 2 wonderful daughters and we just turned our life completely upside down. We quit our jobs, moved to North Carolina, and are setting up a quiet life (that is, if your definition of "quiet" involves chasing around 2 young children).
